Dr. David Loughridge
As a Murray County native, his roots in the community stretch back to the 1830's.  Dr. Loughridge completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia, and then graduated from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine 1978.  After graduation, he opened Murray County Veterinary Services, the first veterinary clinic in Chatsworth.  Dr. Loughridge practices mixed animal medicine and surgery, but has a special interest in herd health.  He also helps manage the family herd of a few hundred Angus cattle.

Dr. Paula Steele
Dr. Steele grew up in Newport News, VA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA.  She then came to the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1977.  She has been at Murray County Veterinary Services since 1980. Dr Steele sees Small Animal and Exotics cases.

Dr. Rebecca Knowles 
Dr. Knowles joined the practice in the summer of 2005, and is originally from Dalton, GA.  She graduated from Northwest Whitfield High School before attending Berry College in Rome, Georgia for her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science.  She went on to the University of Georgia to complete two Master's degrees (one in Anatomy and one in Behavior), and receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UGA in 2005.  Dr. Knowles sees both large and small animal cases.
